
Stefania Parigi, President of the Jury
Professor of theory and history of cinema, Stefania Parigi studied at the University of Siena. During the 1980s and 1990s she held research and consultancy positions at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome; she was editor of the magazine ‘Bianco e Nero’ and of the ‘Filmlexicon degli autori e delle opere’; she collaborated actively with the Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro (Documentation and books sector) and with the Encyclopaedia Treccani (V appendix). Since the mid-1990s, she has been teaching at the University of Roma Tre. Her research focuses mainly on the history, theories, films and authors of Italian cinema.

Silvia Moras
Silvia Moras has been working in the organization of cultural and artistic events and image education for over 20 years. She is involved in film and media education as a trainer of the Piano Nazionale di Educazione all’Immagine promoted by Ministero della Cultura and Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito (Cinema per la Scuola). She is involved in several initiatives related to training and she is scientific manager of the project “Acchiappasguardi: Impariamo, facendo” for the Centro Iniziative Culturali di Pordenone. She is a professor at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome for the cours of Conservazione e Management del patrimonio audiovisivo, where she teaches “Storia del movimento cinetecario” and holds workshops on the aesthetics of non-film materials and writing research projects. She also collaborates with several film festivals of international resonance. She is currently the director of the Palazzo del Fumetto museum in Pordenone and she is a member of the board of directors. She is a collector of film paratexts, ephemera and fandom materials that are the subject of research collaborations with several Italian universities.

Edgardo Pistone
His passion for the seventh art led him to study directing and photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. After graduating, he began working as a director and author, photographer and scriptwriter, also approaching the world of education, bringing cinema to the suburbs of his city, where he teaches young people the art of filmmaking. In 2019, he participated as assistant director in the making of ‘Selfie’ by Agostino Ferrente. His last short film as director, ‘Le Mosche’ (2020), won the official prize of the International Critics’ Week at the Venice Film Festival, in the Short Italian Cinema section, for Best Director. He recently made his first feature film: “Ciao Bambino”.

Sandra Bidoli
Sandra Bidoli is a cinematographer and film operator. Her work intersperses fiction and documentary: independent short films and video clips, including “Fukinagashi” (2019, Francesco Fulvio Ferrari), “Nebula” (2020, Matteo Berruto), “Tornerai” (2020, Matteo Berruto), “You”(2020, Silvio Leonardo Muccino), “Altra storia” (2020, Miro Cruciani) and “Lucia, Luce mia” (2022, Maria Benz) and documentaries, such as “Rom-a” (2022, Giansalvo Pinocchio and Riccardo Baiocco). She served as camera operator in the feature film “The Last Floor” (2019, co-directed by graduates of the G.M.Volonté School of Cinematic Art). Having completed the three-year training course in Photography Direction at the Gian Maria Volonté Academy of Cinematographic Art, she was selected to Becoming Maestre, a masterclass organized by the Academy of Italian Cinema – David di Donatello and Netflix. An opportunity in which she was able to expand her skills, confronting herself with professionals in the field. In addition to her passion for cinema, she cultivates an interest in static photography and painting.

Roberto Baldassarre
Film historian and critic, photographer. Author of the essay “Storie scellerate”, he has collaborated with Nocturno Cinema and has been production assistant for Contraseña Productions (Barcelona). Member of SNCCI since 2017, he currently collaborates with CineCritica, CineCriticaWeb and Cinefilia Ritrovata.

Giacomo Ravesi
Associate professor at the Department of Philosophy, Communication and Performance, University of Roma Tre. His prevalent areas of research concern avant-garde and experimental cinema and video, relations between cinema and the visual arts, music video, archival reuse, documentary and contemporary animated cinema. He is the author of the volumes: The Masks of Dionysus (2021), L’Atalante. Images of Desire (2016) and The City of Images (2011). He is Film Programmer for film festivals and Curator of exhibitions, reviews and live performances. He is a member of the Evaluation Committee of the Piemonte Doc Film Fund – Regional Fund for Documentary Film (Film Commission Torino Piemonte) and is a member of the Accademia del Cinema Italiano – Premi David di Donatello, where he was a juror on the Selection Committee for Documentary Works (2019-2024). Since 2024 he is on the Board of Directors of Fondazione Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico.
